What more do I have to say. Check out the video and be sure to tune into my Mixer channel on November 4th for my Extra Life stream. There will be fun to be had for all…. oh yeah, and giveaways too.
It’s another week, another visit from Xur. Once again, he has items that you may already have. Especially if you’ve been grinding.
This week Xur can be found on IO in Giant’s Scar. You’ll need to go through the base to get to him. Fight off the enemies if you want then follow the road around the mining drill to find the hidden cave.
This week Xur has the following items:
Riskrunner Submachine Gun – 29 legendary shards – This gun is one of the first weapons you can get from Asher Mir so unless you’re just starting out you may want to save your shards.
Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves 23 legendary shards – These hunter gauntlets increase sidearm ready and reload speed
Hallowfire Heart – 23 legendary shards – This titan chest piece will improve the recharge rate of your solar abilities while the Hammer of Sol is charged and ready. Depending on the recharge rate of abilities this might be a good one to have in the crucible.
Transversive Steps – 23 legendary shards – Warlock boots that increase movement speed and will auto reload energy weapons while you are sprinting.
That’s all he has this week. Did you like what he’s got? Let me know in the comments below.
It’s Xur’s second foray into the Destiny 2 universe and he’s got a couple of new items for those who may not have them yet.
This week Xur can be found on Titan. Use The Rig spawn point and track the IX symbol to find him. There are enemies nearby but they will be nice and not attack you while you are speaking with Xur.
This week, Xur has the following items:
Wardcliff Coil Rocket Launcher – This rocker launcher will shoot several missiles at once towards the enemy. Note that I say towards the enemy. Hitting them is another issue as they have a tendency to swarm anywhere but where you want them to.
Foetracer Helmet for the Hunter – This helmet will highlight targeted enemies making them easier to find. Could be good for PVP.
ACD/0 Feedback Fence Gauntlets for the Titan – These gauntlets store up energy on melee kills then release it with a devastating blast when you are punched by an enemy.
Sunbracers Guantlets for the Warlock – These gauntlets extends the duration of your solar grenades and replenishes grenade energy on melee hits.
That’s all for this week. Were you impressed with this weeks drops? Leave a comment saying why you were or weren’t.
I’m back everyone. I’ll at least be posting weekly for Xur’s location for you dear readers.
This is Xur’s first foray into Destiny 2 and he’s got some new gear that everyone will want to buy.
First though, Xur now accepts Legendary Shards for his items. The prices range from 23 shards for armor to 29 shards for weapons so start stocking up by breaking down any legendary or exotic items that you do not use. Don’t worry though you can still reacquire those items from the Collections section of the Vault.
This week Xur can be found on Nessus in the Watcher’s Grave area. Look for the IX banner and tag it so you can be guided directly to him. When you get to the area look up in the treas because he’ll be hanging out in the branches this week.
Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following items:
Merciless Exotic Fusion Rifle with a pretty good impact and charge rate. Could be good for crucible for those that like fusions.
Raiden Flux Chest Armor for the Hunter. This armor allows a longer duration of the arc staff after quick successive strikes with it. Also allows faster reload of your arc abilities. I just wish I had the blink back for my hunter. I miss my blink.
Doom Fang Pauldron gauntlets for the Titan. These gauntlets make your shield bash melees recharge your shield throw faster and melee ability kills recharge the shield super. The gauntlets also allow your void melee abilities to recharge faster.
Wings of Sacred Dawn chest armor for the Warlock allows the Warlock to hang in air for a short time while aiming down the sites of a weapon. Precision kills with this perk will extend the duration of the hover. The armor will also improve weapon handling for power weapons. Not the best perks for an armor item in my opinion but I’m sure some people will love that.
Check the video below for the exact location and full specs of the items and I’ll see you next week for another edition of Where is Xur?
Finally, as always I’ll be taking part in Extra Life this year on November 4th. Extra Life gamers stream or play games for 24 hours straight to help raise funds for Children’s Hospitals. Any help from you readers is always appreciated. Please be sure to head over to my Extra Life Donation Page and make a donation to help out our future gamers. 🙂
Hey everyone. I know it’s been a while since I posted but I think I needed that break. I’ll try to post more often.
In the meantime, there’s a lot coming up for me in the next week. I’ll be streaming for Extra Life for 24 hours from November 5 – November 6. If you would like to donate to Extra Life and help out children’s hospitals you can do so at this link.
All proceeds go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and will help children suffering from many ailments.
During my stream I will be giving away a copy of Forza Horizon 3 (digital only) and an Xbox One Elite Controller.
The controller was graciously donated by Xbox for me to give to you. There will be no requirements to donate to Extra Life to win the controller but remember that every little bit helps.
If you would like to enter to win the controller you can do so here. The contest is open to residents of the US and Canada only.
Looking forward to seeing you all online.
